Map in this site is way off...it's just down the street from the VA hospital. I just happened to find on my second day in town. It's not not marked with a blue sign like the rest of of sites. Beautiful area and I love the sound!! Water is very clear. I wish I could find more information about the site. It's not a popular tourist attraction and I wouldn't take young children. BUT I really enjoyed it!!

Station in ruins, not much to see. Water stinks, no really..stinky. Right next to Mt. Trashmore, the dump that takes everyones trash in a 2 hour radius. Could and should be nice but it never will be thanks to dump.

Walter Hill Hydroelectric Station on the Stone's River was an interesting encounter at the time of our visit. This early 1900's hydroelectric station is no longer in use but the dam area is a noted spot for photography. Do watch your step since much ‘horse poop' was along the trails and at the dam area. Do take everything you need for a visit, sturdy shoes, drinking water, snacks, etc. Also we saw no facilities so plan ahead.
