There are a few hairpin turns on the twisty dirt road, but the park has lots of picnic tables and great views. Drive on toward the Royal Gorge and cross scenic and historic Grape Creek with interpretive signs and a restroom.

It was an adventure driving up and down the mountain on a minimum maintenance road and was probably good I couldn't see beyond the darkness!!!

We decided to do our own 'discovering' at this hidden jewel. Not for the faint of heart or vehicles lacking clearance!! There are some beautiful photo opportunities and a nice covered picnic area.

We enjoy the park but there is no trail info about starting points or distances. even the information from the tourist board doesn't have anything.

Great mountain biking and hiking. Gorgeous for anyone really- Just drive though. You'll stil love it!
