That Greeley has such an interesting history! Well laid out with some nice interactive areas, the Greeley museum will introduce you to why Greeley became Greeley (and no, Greeley never actually visited Greeley). An hour or so will do. Cost is only $2 for adults!http://greeleymuseums.com/history-museum/

This is a well done local museum. We enjoyed reading about the rattlesnake lady and seeing her snake outfit. I particularly like the display about the WWll POW camp and reading about it. It was interesting learning about the local sugar beet industry. Take some time, stop in and look around. The museum is in the old Tribune newspaper building.

The museum is laid out nicely, well maintained, interesting. The monthly brown bag program hosted by the museum is worth doing. Put it on your calendar Third Thursday) and enjoy throughout the spring and summer

Very well-done museum! Excellent value! My kids loved the scavenger hunt and the prizes they received afterwards. We all enjoyed learning more about Greeley's history through the interactive exhibits. Excellent staff and clean facility and bathrooms! We highly recommend it!

I went here as a chaperone on a school trip. The kids really liked it. There is a lot to see and learn about the history of Greeley. It is a very well done local museum and is very inexpensive.

From the outside it doesn't seem to be much, but it's a great collection of Greeley's history, well displayed. It's right across from the Clarion Motel downtown and easy to miss. They have spent a lot of time to collect, arrange, and display the town's past. Informative and well laid out.

Great small town museum with special exhibits that change about every 6-12 months. Nice archive area for research if you need it and also has a large collection and very research friendly. Museum includes downtown location, Centennial museum/park, Farr house, Meeker house, so many things under their control. Well worth seeing and participating at programs in all of these areas.

One of those places that you go in and can't believe all there is to see and read about! The staff is very friendly and always ready to share information. Don't miss Rattlesnake Kate's dress! Just so many wonderful things about the history of Greeley, all very interesting for all ages! Just a great, inexpensive way to spend a day exploring the local history. Really well laid out and nice exhibits too!

Nice and very friendly staff! For a smaller museum it has a unique range of exhibits that show the history of Greeley and Weld County. The Archives helped me find family history and again, the staff was very helpful.
