bear lake

This is place is hard to find. Dirt road to Bear lake and it is breathtaking. It is worth the find. There are two lakes in this area. The first lake is Blue lake then if you go further then you will find Bear Lake.

Rain was in the forecast the day we went so very quiet. The sun was shining creating a beautiful reflection of the yellow Aspen leaves on the still lake. An easy, short walk around the lake lets you just enjoy the beauty.

I love to drive up to Bear Lake. It is beautiful. If you are lucky you might just see a bear!!!!

We visited Bear Lake in April and were fortunate enough to catch somesnow (quite far up) whilst we were there in the "warmer" weather. We saw some elk near the bottom and I got to play in the snow up at the ranger station. Good times! :-)
