nice place but gets very over crowded! food and drinks were good--ladies room was awful!!--the band was DRIVE...i believe a cars tribute band..fronted by a gal who looked like---a guy! but she and the band were great!! band was ruined by an ugly chubby over-bleached blonde in a bad 50's get-up with more bellly fat and flab than my great-aunt Fran!! she was laughable outta shape and could not dance!! we thought it was a comedy show!! ms. chubette needs to get over herself..let the band perform the songs and stop trying to be the center of attention!! if this over 50//60 gall had been pretty/thin/ or a good dancer i would not be walking off--like alot of others did!..definitely not uppercut!..but thanks for the laugh-fest!..we will be back!

Live band karaoke on Thursdays! If ur a bit shy it's ok very cool crowd. Band knows lots of stuff pop and rock and even some rap! And if nothing else watch other people sing. . And drink.! Fun place, I usually go when certain bands place - Liverpool shuffle, 45 rpm. Hate the ten dollar cover at the door, but outside of that, drinks are good, food is fine. Service can be slow, esp when it's packed. Make reservations when bands play or you will never get a table. Place is small. It's a good place to see a band, that's about it.

Have lived in the area for a long time. First time there. 45 RPM and Uppercut were worth the $10 cover. Bands were popular so the place was overcrowded with people walking into each other to get to the bar or to dance. The overcrowding was compounded by food service to tables so the wait staff would push you out of the way to get by. To make matters worse, the kitchen staff shuttled cases of beer, boxes of cheese, bags of carrots and assorted items back to the kitchen through the crowd while the band was playing. It got to the point where I was tired of being jostled around so I found a good spot in the back by the sound guys and got away from the masses. Good beer selection but I was very disappointed to order a premium tap beer only to get it served in the cheapest of clear flimsy plastic cups instead of a quality pint glass you would think you would get in a place this. Many TV screens in the bar. A few had a basketball game frozen in the first quarter, others had outdated advertisements for past bar events and the others had current shows. If the bands were not as good, it would have been one cheaply served beer and out. There are better places not far away.

Turned out for a show here last night. Good location, plenty of good beer choices and good acoustics from the band. Big enough for the type of crowd you'd expect. Billy Joes ain't playing here but they go with upscale cover bands and such. There was a ten dollar cover plus two drink minimum. If you can't appreciate that then I guess you need to go someplace with less going for it. Food was served but I didn't get a look. You can go in and out without a problem so if you want to smoke it's ok... If your fav band is playing there you'll be very happy here.

Been to this place bar/ restaurant / entertainment venue. Always 10$ cover must order drinks and food to sit at table where u can't see the band they put a service charge and gratuities on the bill. Waitress is horrible ( attitude) and the last time we were there we had three people and they charged us for four

dropped in to meet friends on a weeknight..food good..place packed and drinks okay..band 45rpm was good but the swell-headed guitarplayer's ego trip was awful..mr. michael needs to get over himself!!! the other people in the band were really nice and level-headed...little place to dance and finding a table was difficult. regulars told us to go when the better bands perform on the weekend...the food was okay and so were the drinks..and the crowd was alot of older people..but all in all we will be back when better bands perform..call ahead or check the website for their schedule..ps wonderous stories was a wonderous boring snooze!

This pub was #1 in the area on tripadvisor, so we decided to check it out. We were visiting from Pennsylvania and always look for places with live music to visit while on vacation. This is defiantly the spot! They have live music 7 days a week. They also have a pretty decent beer selection and the food was good. Great atmosphere and nice mixed crowd!

Great beer selection. The menu was recently redone. Food is terrific from their wraps to their jamaican jerk dry rubbed wings, to the burgers, or appetizers. The place is good for anything.

We went to see a band that we heard about that plays Cream and Mountain and early Stones. Their name is Braveheart and they were awesome! We're not worthy. Great rock atmosphere. Great band. The bartenders were great. There is a 2 drink minimum at the tables that are set up 5 to 15 feet in front of the band and they were loud, thank God. Our friends drink a bunch but that annoyed them and they stood in the back (the minimum not the decibels). I mean really who is going to eat directly in front of the band when playing. It seemed a little greedy. The girl serving the tables could have been friendlier now that i think about it. The 2nd band played Deep Purple and they were awesome as well. Rock and roll lives in Bellmore.

Been here a number of times now and there are some really talented bands that come to play here. They recently upgraded their sound system and it is a marked improvement. Generally there is a $10.00 cover charge and some bands that play during the week get an early start. They will start at 7PM and you are out of there by 9:30PM so you can get to bed at a reasonable hour for a week night. One band in particular called FM play all Steely Dan tunes. They have a great horn section and are very talented musicians all around. The food here is pretty good. Buffalo wings, burgers and fries are really good. Not happy about $7.00 Budweisers but I guess that is the going rate these days. There are other cover bands that frequent KJ Farrell's like Wonderous Stories (anything from Yes to Elton John, Traffic, Greatful Dead.....) and last night I saw a band called Us & Floyd covering all Pink Floyd music. I would recommend this place and I am glad there are places on Long Island to see live music and very good talent. It is also a very good location. Right across the street from the Bellmore train station. The crowd is mostly us 'baby boomers' but there are some younger folks who appreciate music coming too. So come on to KJ's and support these talented musicians have a cold one and enjoy!

The food is not bad, the service is quite good. I went to see -- and hear -- a friend's band. I'd go back even if I didn't know the musicians.

My friends love going to this place to hear bands but I find it very loud and hate it!! You can get burgers, wings or a salad to eat which aren't bad considering it is bar food. They charge a cover of 10 dollars usually to get in to see a band. If you like small, loud bars then this is for you!!
