sorry we're open - the niagara hotel

I was in this place for a short while last weekend. The bar room of the Niagara Hotel is quite dark and a bit on the scary side - like something from the bar room scene in one of the early Star Wars movies. While I was sitting at the bar, two fights almost erupted around me, and one guy was soliciting "things" that cannot be mentioned here. If you enjoy the dark scene, I guess this place would be OK. There is usually a band playing in the back room, as there was this weekend. You may not like what you see going on around the band, but it is back there.This place is not my scene. I will not be going back there.
