Well-kept boat launch with docks for easy boat/kayak/canoe access to the Kennebec River. Grassy area and benches for picnic-ing, Frisbee-playing, etc. Paved area with ample parking for boat trailers. The Rail Trail starts here and ends in Augusta, 6-7 miles north. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, ATM and grocery store.

The landing has a great view of the river and changing trees. Many people utilize this neat spot in Gardiner and it is well groomed and taken care of. I would love to come back!

The city has really done a lot in the past few years, and I love the new & improved landing! Great place to bring your dogs as well so they can run around. Also not far from the start of the Kennebec Rail Trail in Gardiner (which runs all the way to Augusta's waterfront).

Gardiner Landing is one of the nicest boat facilities on the Kennebec. Recent changes have added more parking and a great boardwalk/wharf. While I might not chose to keep a boat there, it is great to visit with easy access to downtown, a Reny's, Hannafords Market and Johnson Hall. It would really be first class if it had a pumpout facility for boaters.
