dillon visitor center

Lots of material to take home and read but no one was there to answer our questions: i.e. Rodeo, fair, etc. Kind of strange since this was their "Biggest Montana Weekend".

Very helpful staff, we enjoyed chatting to them during our visit, they also have lots of free maps and guides

Dillon was a nice town to visit. It has many places to access the water. We went canoeing and took a swim in the river. The people in Dillon are friendly and the college brings in many interesting people. Nearby to many beautiful natural resources as well...Jackson, Yellowstone... We enjoyed our visit.

lots of neat artifacts from beaverhead county, board walk is awesome and it is located right downtown next to all the old businesses

I have been to Dillon, MT a few times now and although it is small, it is quaint and very nice. The small downtown hosts a handful of nice shops, galleries and artist exhibits. The town museum is also nicely laid out and informative. I would suggest this location if you are looking for some small town relaxation. It is also in close proximity to Bannack which a great ghost town to visit.

Great for adults and kids alike, gives a historical view of the area and the town. The old railway and school house were good.

Nice people and great information. They send me bannack the old gold rush town. Ask about the talc mining in the are if your a rock hound. Yes, there a little gold there yet. Garnets in the are native. Nice place.
