We believe the Gravel Bar is at the top as far as hang-outs go in Ennis. There is often live music on the weekends during the summer, which offer a wide variety of genres. The musicians travelling through seem to love their time in Ennis. There is a yearly fly fishing guide appreciation night at the gravel bar (around the salmon fly hatch) that is a ton of fun.The staff are long-time residents and offer great service and hospitality. The food is great too. It is well above the grade of "bar food".

My wife and I love to fish the Madison River and spend time in the town of Ennis, Montana. The Gravel Bar is THE place to be after a long day of fly fishing. Lots of cool people and fishing guides hanging out; the beer is ice cold and the food is good. What's not to like?
