A beautiful Gallery in a small town, displaying all manner of art. Frequent change outs. The main hangout on "First Friday" art walks. Offers many classes, with top class instructors........pottery being my favourite !! Lovely little gift shop, for that unsusual gift for someone special. All the staff are very pleasant, and helpful.

Contemporary art center with exhibits by local artists. First Friday of every month has wine and food. Nice place to visit with Children and all ages. Exhibits change monthly so return visits are always interesting. Small gift shop with interesting and nicely priced items.

We stopped by here when we were visiting my parents. It was great a little excursion which was free. It takes about an hour to go through. Its my understanding that they change exhibits almost monthly so I want go into detail about the exhibits that were there when we were.The galleries are clean and easy to navigate. Don't forget to go downstairs! The staff and the resident artists were very nice to deal with.

The exhibitors when we were there were out of the ordinary using a variety of "junk" to design mixed media art.

This was our second visit to the Eastern Shore Art Center. I feel like we are visiting a local art museum.

There is a variety of art on display with something that suits all tastes. I recommend going on "The First Friday in Fairhope" art walk. There is music with a live piano player and drinks are offered along with snacks on First Friday, A wonderful place for art lovers.

A great art collection with an amazing art school. I have taken a class there and it had a very professional atmosphere, yet was still fun.

We visited during the monthly First Friday Art Walk. The event was well attended and the variety of art displayed was interesting.

Fabulous exhibits. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check the website to see current exhibitions. A must go to if you are in town on the first Friday of the month. The town celebrates First Friday Art Walk each month, with the Art Center being center stage.

Take a short drive (or walk) a few blocks from the center of downtown Fairhope to the 60 year old Eastern Shore Art Center, the heart of the art scene in this artists' mecca. Admission is free to view local anf regional original art in 5 galleries and visit the gift shop too. Check out the new wood fired kiln on the back of the property to see where locals fire unique pieces of clay art. The Art Center also sponsors outdoor shows downtown in October and March every year. Definitely worth the trip!

I have taken lessons there. My grandchild has taken lessons there and 2 will return next summer. Wonderful small galleries. Enjoyed several exhibits there. Good free activity for visitors on a hot or rainy day. You can walk from downtown, near the Windmill Market.
