Artists working live, curator providing information on artifacts left out to touch and feel, i dont usually find much interest in "native art" as it has been over-commercialized, made in china and so on, but this was genuine - a working creative studio, unapologetically messy, and hands on touch/feel/ talk/ learn something new. see something that actually moves you. yep - i bought stuff. and got some great photos too. i highly recommend this visit. and its free if you dont get caught up in the great art and simply have to buy something. which by the way is authentic and at a great price.

This is a very interesting museum. One of the staff took time to explain about the totems and carvers and answered our many questions. Is was a very rewarding experience.

This facility is home to native art that has been rescued from around the world. In house artisans continue the tradition of Totems. See their works in progress and the tools they use to create these massive artworks.
