You have to see this building! It has a crazy architecture. I heard that during its construction it had collapsed several times because of its nearly impossible architecture. It just looks crazy, very special.

The building reminds me of the Guggenheim in Bilbao, very strange angles and curves. Beautiful to look at. Inside is just as weird. They have kind of made the building a homage to the pranks MIT students have played on campus. I really liked this building.

Such a wild building from the outside, looks like something from a Dr. Seuss book! And the inside is wacky too. Just phenomenal!

Visitors should ride the elevators up to the top to see views within and outside the building. Also try to go up to the fourth floor and walk into the central part of the building to see the vertigo-inducing Kiva room. Cafe and restaurant on first floor are decent options for visitors.

Stop off at the Strata center for a disorienting amble through an unusual building with a lot of great art. Watch the smart folks at work-- and see how the building works (and doesn't). It is Frank Gehry's contribution to MIT.If you don't care about architecture --save your time.

Part of MIT this building has some really interesting features. It looks unusual from the outside and inside has a couple of cafes and some quirky art work

It is a really striking building. you either like it or hate it. it is really weird but then MIT has a number of world class archetect designed buildings. Give it 25 more years and we will know whether it fits with those or is just weird.

When have you given a double take at a campus building, and was it because it looked like it had begun to melt? The Stata Bulding is beautiful and fun and worth seeing. Go inside if you can, no right angles.MIT campus has a lot of functional rectangular buildings. Gehry gives all that predictability a rest and let's imagination roam. Lots of photo opportunities too.

You walk from the street to the back of the buildings. The colors of silver and yellow, the window seals popping out, the mirror effects , it is stunning.I became an admirer of Frank Gherry . I try to find and go to each of his buildings, all around the world. He is a genius, no doubt. You have to be a bit “crazy’ yourself to “feel” the craziness. It is so unique and nuveau . Brilliant.
