The previous reviewer should have included the replica Customs House under Oxford, MD Attractions and not Easton, MD Attractions. Oxford is approximately 10 miles from Easton.

We were staying in Oxford and saw this small building across the street near the ferry on Morris St. and the Strand. A sign indicated what it was and that it was open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM--wrong--it was not open at 10 AM when we were there--maybe because it was winter and few tourists were around. We looked in the window and saw tables and chairs and information on the the walls--it probably would be interesting to see. Some research on the internet indicated that it was a replica of one built by the first customs officer appointed by Washington in 1791 across the bay from Oxford. A nice story--maybe it will be open the next time we visit.
