greenwell state park

I am a photography enthusiast and this park is a great place to get some nature shots. It is quiet and usually not too busy.

Can't decide if you want to go out for Picnics, Horseback riding, Hiking, Hunting, Canoeing and Kayaking? Well how about a one-stop shop? We visited Greenwell and found it to be a beautiful area.There is a $3.00 cash only donation box at the entrance, which is where you will receive your pass for the day. They offer horseback riding for kids, but I think you have to reserve the seperately. The hiking was very each and flat.The picnic areas are everywhere, buy my favorite are those spots right near the water. The park was very clean and easy to get to. Highligh recommend, especially if you want your kids to run around and burn energy.
