Again a must visit place, it is a very peace and holy place there is pond inside the temple, as it is said that bathing in the pond lets u free from all the curse and than praying to govind devji after it brings all your wishes true. But there is restriction in timing of the temple. You definately find peace there.

Huge, ancient temple in the heart of the city. Having a place of honor in a million hearts. Lot of people flock it since early morning. It has a direct view from the Fort. Parking is a problem due to huge rush but close proximity to City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawamahal is added advantage.

It is a Hindu temple Govind Dev Ji built by Sawai Jai Singh. The idol of Lord Krishna was brought from Vrindavan, mathura. It is inside the City Palace complex and seem to be directly visible to the King from his palace. The temple is dedicated to Govind Dev Ji (Lord Krishna). It is very serene and peaceful to be there. Visit as many times as possible. It opens at certain times and know the timing. Mornings are relatively less crowded than evening. Every one is allowed. Considered very powerful and people visit as many times as possible.

Great experience. Went there on advice of a friend; and we were pleasantly surprised. The visit reminds me of the line- "sar jhuka ke ek pal mein maine kya nahin paaya!".Try and be at the temple by around 10am if you are targeting morning aarti; darshan closes at around 1030.
