This play is a wonderful play about the First Ohio Christian Settlement.. it is perfomed in an outdoor theater. It was beautiful to watch the performance under the stars! Please note that there is a bit of a walk(but not horribly far) from the parking area to the theater but they will allow you to pull up and drop people off if needed and the walk is nicely lit on the way out. We were there the last night and thought it was really neat that after the performance the actors and actresses were right outside the theater entrance so you could thank and congratulate them. The play is well done and definately worth seeing...Please note that seating is all general admission so if you want close seats, you need to be there when the gates open...

An excellent play, it was too bad there weren't more people there the night we attended. When you arrive, there is a long path back to the box office and amphitheater. It is well lit when you leave. The play is the story of local history, the Indians and Moravian missionaries at the time of the Revolutionary War.

I would rate this play as wonderful, but beware of two things it is general admission - which means you have a ticket and all seats are up for grabs and the othe thing you have to walk a long way from the parking lot. But the play is really worth seeing.

Trumpet in the Land is performed in an outdoor theatre setting and tells the story of Ohio's first Christian settlement, Schoenbrunn and the its missionary, David Zeisberger. It is a sad story but one that needs to be remembered. If you go early for a Trumpet performance be sure to take the backstage tour. It is really interesting. Also, the theatre managers do a good job of providing other shows for a little variety.

I like the show very much even tho I've seen it several times. They do a regular show and many different extras during a season. The only thing I found wrong for me was the walk to the seating. even with handicap parking it is still quite a walk back up to your car.
