This was my first visit so I didn't know what to expect… I brought my horse, donkey, and two dogs. The trails are all well marked, but don't necessarily coincide with the map. For instance… The purple trail is marked with pink. Also I was never able to find any distance is he there. The good thing is most of the trails really aren't that long… I think the longest might be 3 1/2 to 4 miles. I was hoping for longer, but this made it possible to check out more than one trail. As far as the trails go… Very adventurous! We've had a lot of rain lately so there was a lot of mud and there was no avoiding slipping and sliding. There are a ton of elevation changes and lots of twists and turns. some areas are wider where you could fit a vehicle and others you can barely squeeze by on your horse… All this makes for a great trail riding experience. There are only a couple things I would change… First and foremost I would add distances to the maps are online so you have an idea of how much time you're going to spend. Secondly you have to check in at the main gate with the ATVs, but then you have to turn around go back out to the main gate go left at about a quarter mile up and go into a separate gate on the opposite side of the highway. This is partly good because it completely separate you from the ATVs if you have a spooky horse this is great… But it's kind of a pain because you have to get out unlock the gate drive-through lock the gate and then go on your way. Otherwise it was a great experience! I was really glad to be able to bring my dogs and the mini donkey for company and it was a great day for them to

The wife and I went to CAW with our daughter, son in law, granddaughter and three other families to celebrate our granddaughters 14th birthday. Everyone else stayed in the campground. We rented a "half" cabin which is like a duplex cabin. The riding trails were great fun and everyone had a wonderful time but the cabin was a disappointment. It consisted of a queen bed that was elevated to 36"to 38" off the floor. The only way to get into it was to run and jump. For a 64 y.o. that was less than ideal. I eventually took our ice cooler in and used it as a stool to access the bed. The cabin was newer with full bathroom but the shower water was lukewarm at best and the pressure was low. the most aggravating thing was that there was no place to put bags or hang clothes. There was a coffee pot but nothing to drink out of unless your accustomed to drinking straight from the pot. All in all the trip was fun and I would go again but at a cost of $237.62 for two nights there could of been a little more attention paid to the amenities included in the cabins.

Spent the weekend there with friends and family riding dirt bikes and RZR's. Had an absolute blast. The place is huge and the trails are long. I have seen the other reviews and they have a dirt bike only section, nothing else. The riding is good for everyone as long as you know where to go and what trails to ride on. It took me a little bit to figure out which ones to go on but eventually you do. The night rides were fun in RZR's. Going through mud, creeks, etc. Food is good, not terribly overpriced. Staff is friendly and people are nice. Great place to go and we will be back for sure.

Me and a friend read all of the glowing reviews on Rider Planet and other forums and decided to make a trip to CAW. We both ride Dirt Bikes, and I would agree with some of the other reviewers on Trip Advisor, this place is geared toward four wheelers and side by sides. The way the trails are laid out, you can't get any speed, your mostly riding 2nd and 3rd gear. If they have had any rain, I would rate the easy trails as blue (moderate) and the more difficult, as pretty much impassible. The staff were all friendly, we were there during the week and nearly had the place to ourselves.

I was there to run in a Spartan Beast race. Perfect location for such an event. Great terrain, well managed place. Looks like the peple on 4 wheelers and bikes like the place too. I saw people in RVs having fun. Overall good place.

Can you say "price gouging." Normal rate for rv camping is $30 per night. Because Spartan event was held there the rate jumped to $300.00 for the weekend. Personally will never attend another event here, that is not ethical. Have done 3 Spartan races here and a Super Hero Scramble. I'll find venues that are more friendly toward racers from now on. Come on Spartan Racing, how can you allow your supporters to be treated like this?

If the Spartan Race brings a race back to Carolina Adventure World, DO IT!!! It was the best time ever, the course was laid out perfectly and it was tons of fun. The parking was all on site so we didn't have to take any buses!!! The motorsports park made the perfect race venue.

Went to a spartan race there. The campground was ok. We stayed on one if the sites.... There was NO hookup for the black water.. No hook up period. 300 for 2 nights .......The venue Rebock did a great job . The camping was loud and people were on there ATVs all night long . I think when they host a Spartan race there they should do one or the other .... Mixing a bunch of runners with wheelers is a poor mix . They were loud all night long..Hopefully next year they will have more order.

Nice tracks. Horrible bikes. DO NOT RENT IT.Bad brakes, I went several times at their garage to fix it.The chain got off because it was loose and it wasn't able to restart. The person holding the garage said we won't be charge since the bike had a loosen chain, and that it could be easily fixed. Finally five days later I had been charged for reparation on the bike (more than $180) without being notified.They accused me of unscrewing some bolts and touch some stuff on the engine... Without any tools: Stupid. Of course I never did that... Margarette, the manager told me that I am a dishonest person. This is the way they talk to customers... But it's a very clever way to keep your deposit.

We were a little concerned about going after reading some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. It is in the middle nowhere,but what a fantastic time we had. Staff was friendly and knowledgable, which is important especially with the trail system they have created. We literally spent 6+ hours riding ATV's through over 100 miles of trails. ATV's were in great shape, brakes worked fine and had plenty of gas. We truly had free reign on where we went all day. Trails were a little rough,but that's what actually made it so fun and challenging. Map they provide is very important to have as we did get lost one time, but quickly made it back onto the trail. My kids and I had an awesome time and would strongly recommend visiting. My kids are still talking about it and want to go back. Thanks for a great time!!

After reading all of the reviews about this place I was a bit worried that this place wouldnt live up to our expectations because of the low price. We booked for 2 days, and rented the larger cabin for to stay over.Our Group:5 guys - 1 with alot of experience, 4 others relatively new riders.The Good:The riding park is EXCELLENT, 100+ miles of trails, nicely marked, the terrain was so varied it made it soooooo much fun!!!!!The staff in the main area was nice, not overly friendly but nice.The cabin was excellent, CLEAN and very NEW.The Bad:The first day 3 out of 5 of our Suzuki 400's had either bad or NO brakes! They were nice enough to tell us to ride them back to the shop to have them fixed. One of the 3 that had bad brakes was unfixable and needed a full brake replacement, the other 2 were on their last legs. They gave me a newer ATV which I kept both days. My friends were not so lucky and just dealt with the brake issues. The second day one of my friends got a ATV with a bad front control arm and we had to take it back and they were hesitant to replace it because the girl did not understand the mechanics and saftey issues about riding a ATV in the woods and not being able to steer. Finally she gave in a gave my friend a different ATV. The workers in the garage/shop were about the most laziest people we've come across, my friend brought the ATV in, the guy looked at him lit up a cigarette and walked away for 15 mins and poured a cup of coffee and sat around b.s.ing with a co-worker then decided to come back and fix the brakes!!!! If the owners of this place would just test all the brakes nightly before putting them away it would really save people alot of time and hassle. Since they make you sign a waiver clearing them of any legal negligence issues I guess they don't care if your ATV is able to stop. These ATV's do get beat up pretty bad on the trails but saftey should always be at the top of the owners list of priorities.The food in the main lodge sucks and is WAY over priced. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND WATER. We paid $49+ for (2) 12 inch pizzas and 24 hot wings and 5 waters.Anyway, it was an overall wonderful experience and we would definately go back! We now know the ropes. Hopefully the owner heeds the NO brakes warning I am writing about on the ATV's because we did have the same issues both days.

Went for the first time. It was a great place. I am a beginner so the easy trails were still a little hard for me, but that has nothing to do with CAW. Rest of the group said the other trails were good as well. We had dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. Camping area was great, very level. I didn't go into the bathhouses but someone with our group did and said clean for the number of people that were there this weekend. Loved the drag strip area. The only negative that I did find was at the dump station. I am not sure how that could be improved but luckily we had taken rain boots and they were needed at the dump station. The people at the gate and in the store were extremely nice and helpful. We will go back again

Visited with our kids (12&9) and rented two side by sides. Had fun blasting through the trails, their equipment ran well until a tie rod broke on one of the side by sides due to poor trail conditions. The trails need serious work, green & blue trails were deeply rutted in many places. It was my husbands rental that broke a tie rod and he and my son ended up stuck in the woods for 3 hours before they found him and fixed the machine. Spent way too much money on rentals to lose half the day due to poor trails and staff's inability to locate their equipment/my family. Carolina Adventure needs to invest in some type of GPS locator for their rental equipment!

Drove almost 100 miles to ride dirt bikes there because of the good ratings and was very disappointing! Found almost all trails completely destroyed by ATV and UTV's, Major deep ruts on all trails and on some trails had huge 5 foot deep mud holes around blind turns! The service roads were also destroyed by the atv and utv drivers, This place is not dirt bike friendly at all. The motocross track was not groomed and had about 5 inches of dust and gravel on the surface and had a 4 seater polaris utv driving in the motocross track making it impossible to see through the dust! Paid for Campsite number 10 and got there to find the guys in camp 12 took campsite 10, 11, and 12 up with all of there vehicles and 2 tents so we had nowhere to park. Bad experience, this place needs to invest in a water truck and grooming equipment to repair there trails and roads and they need to patrol the camps to make sure the people get the campsites they pay for!!

Carolina Adventure world is an ATV/Motor Cross Bike/Frisbee Golf/Zip Line park. It's a park with 2,600+ acres of private wooded hills and valleys to ride your ATV or off-road motorcycle thru - with varying degrees of difficulty. Wonderfully mapped out and lots of fun. We used only the ATV trails. We wanted to stay there in one of their cabins, but these were all booked out, so advice - if you want to stay in one - book in advance. The people are great. We stayed at a local hotel, but didn't want to trailer our ATVs each day (we went for 4 days with 2 ATVs), and they had no problem with us leaving our trailer and ATVs there - they have 24 hr security and said anything they can do to make it more enjoyable, just ask. The lodge is really nice too, nice store with basically anything you need. They also have a canteen/mini snack center. Mon-Fri - pizza and wings only. Weekends - burgers, hot dogs, bbq, etc..... Prices very reasonable. For your ATV/Motorcycle - they have a nice 8 station power wash area too cost $1 for about 5 mins or so. Their trails are well marked and the map very accurate. The trails are well maintained as well. They also have tents u can rent too. We were there St. Pat's weekend, and there must have been over 500 people there over the weekend! We saw they have RV/camper hook up. My personal issues. They also have showers, but the showers are not for the faint hearted. Unless you need a pair of discarded shorts or underwear. If you forgot your soap no worries, sure to find one in a shower stall. One thing also I didn't like - the toilets face the shower stalls. Would be nice to have a barrier wall separating the two. I didn't see the men's shower, but my husband peeked in to the women's (nobody was in it) and said it was very clean in comparison. Personally, I think the shower area and toilets would need more of a regular maintenance - especially when they are busy.Aside from that - I highly recommend this park! They have mud bogs, an banked oval strip, drag strip - all kinds of things for those who are into off road motoring.
