herb's wolf river rafting

Was visiting my brother last week in Birnamwood and was looking for something fun to do outside. We saw an add in a paper for "Herb's Rafts". Sounded like fun. We went 5 of us 2 adults and 3 kids 6-13 years old for a 3 hour raft trip down the Wolf River. The place inside was kind of dark in my opinion, had a HUGE oval bar but, we only bought some snacks to take on the raft trip.The price was fair, the rafts were very nice and we were shuttled by van to our drop point on the river. You end up back in at the Inn at the end of the trip where your car is and where you can eat a meal in the restaurant/bar. The river was very low and so you do get stuck many times on rocks and fallen trees but we all had a blast navigating this all. There are a few category 2 rapids but easy enough even for our 6 year old. It is a family friendly trip. the last set of rapids at the Inn itself is by far the best part of the trip. All in all I highly recommend you doing these raft trips with Herb's Rafts if you are in the area. Extremely fun and we will be back. Next time we will try the food too!
