This lovely little museum houses a fantastic collection of Native American artifacts, leather works, and Western heritage. If you are a fan of cowboy boots or ball gloves, this is a treasure for you. The building itself is beautiful, and there are some old pieces outside as well. It also has a nice gift shop. The lovely lady at the desk was a wealth of knowledge, and couldn't have been friendlier. Thanks for the hospitality, Nell!

It’d be hard to argue that any other town of 3,000 people has an entity that preserves its history better than the folks at the museum. You’d be hard pressed to show me a finer museum in any small town in Texas. If you haven’t gone out there by now, take the chance to learn a bit about the rich history Nocona has. You won’t be disappointed.
