The award-winning Garza County Historical Museum is housed in the 100-year-old former Post Sanitarium. A beautiful building from the outside, the museum's many rooms are filled with exhibits from prehistoric fossils to Posts' greatest sports teams. Notable residents of Post, such as founder C. W. Post are highlited, as are local veterans, ranchers, rodeo stars, and civic leaders. Wonderful period furniture and household items help fill out the area history. A nice gift shop and bookstore is located on the first floor and the wonderful ladies there will give you a great tour. Free, but a donation is appreciated. Recommended.
