mcenroe farm market

I paid for Metro North Gateway from NYC (Farm Fresh Organic Food). It was a good package with $35 round trip and shuttle bus service. I have visited 3 places that day: Harney & Sons Fine Tea Store, Dutch's Spirits and McEnroe. I was so glad that I joined this tour. There are professional staffs explained to us the history or the products of each stop. Then you can buy products or not. Up to you. I understand that this is Dutuhess County promoting their local businesses. But I was so impress the detail that each staff provided. Last stop, which is the most interesting parts is McEnroe Organic Farm. The shuttle bus drove us around it's farms and the staff will explained to us how to grow their organic produces in a very detail way. She also showed us how their composting operation works. Finally, we went to their little educational farm and stopped by their store. I wish I would have more time there so that I can try the food from their kitchen.
