Having visited this museum after the Iditarod Headquarters made the visit a little special. Don't forget to go downstairs!!

Really enjoyed my visit here. Keep in mind it is a small local museum but it has some good info on a local mine in the area and some information and exhibits on some local personalities and town history. There are six period buildings across the street but you can only walk into one of them, hopefully they will get the other ones open so you can walk thru them as we'll.

This was a nice little stop. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Interesting information on Iditarod race.

We learned so much. It is well worth your time to visit the museum. People are super friendly. The town of Wasilla was very nice to visit.

Provided a historic prospective of the town of Wasilla and the surrounding area in the Mat-Su Valley. Also provides selection of brochures featuring local adventures, places to stay, and sights to see.

The Dorothy Page Museum has a lot to show the local and tourist alike. I would recommend it as a "must see" when passing through Wasilla. It will take you an hour or two to see all that is encompassed in that area, so plan accordingly. Easy to find just 1 block off of the Parks Highway.

big bang for your buck, only $3.00 to get in. Lots of interesting history and local art exhibit too - Brassieres To Nowhere Bra art! Loved the salmon skin one!
