lawson tower

This is a historical site in Scituate. A beautiful tower built in 1902 to cover a water tower that was placed on the property by the town of Scituate. The water tower was in Mrs. Lawson's option an eyesore so her husband Thomas Lawson sent out his architechs to find and reproduce a tower to cover the water tower. It is open to the public only on specific days. A stairway leds to the top and the bell room the offer views of the surrounding area. It is very beautiful. Look at the Town of Scituate Historical Society website for dates that it is open.

I thought it was beautiful and I wish my Grandaughter could have been here I know she would envision Repanzel with her hair hanging out the tower window. Even my husband thought it was worth seeing :)
